What is your vision for contributing to the Chapter as a Board Member: |
||
My vision is to continue to champion chapter support of K12 STEM and PM activities including Future City Competition, Chief Science Officer and YMWIC that have provided and will continue to provide scores of rewarding volunteer opportunities and have a positive impact on the young people in our communities. I plan on continuing to execute the projects I started in outreach to college students who have displayed an interest in project management to introduce them to PMI and help them turn their dreams into reality. Although COVID19 has caused the postponement of an Academic Council event for college faculty teaching project management, it is my intention to revive that project as soon as conditions allow. |

What is your vision for contributing to the Chapter as a Board Member: |

My vision for serving as a PMI-DVC Board Member is to collaborate to define and achieve the strategic objectives along with my specific designated roles. Currently I am working to expand the corporate outreach initiative to foster a pipeline of conversations and relationship building via a team of volunteers. These initiatives seek to broaden our list of sponsors, speakers, conversations about PMI-DVC offerings, discussions of new initiatives such as Discipline Agile and possibly increase the number of PMI-DVC members attending, writing, and speaking about the profession at PMI conferences. |
