In partnership with the Project Management Institute-Delaware Valley Chapter (PMI-DVC), Bucks County Community College will offer the following courses to assist those preparing for Project Management Professional (PMP®) or Certified Professional in Project Management (CAPM®) certification.
PMI-DVC members receive an exclusive discount on the prep course fees (detailed below) and classroom materials are provided unless specifically noted. The prep course material is supported by content from A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Sixth Edition. PMP® and CAPM® Foundations in Project Management
This course meets the 23-hour education requirement to take the CAPM certification exam and provides 28 hours of the 35-hour education requirement to take the PMP certification exam.
This course provides an in-depth review of project management principles and aligns with the Project Management Institute's A Guide to the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Sixth Edition. It is designed specifically for managers new to, or just starting in, the project management area. This course brings you up-to-speed in current principles and practices of project management. Taught by PMP®-certified practitioners working in the field as well as academic practitioners, you will immediately apply what you learn.
Four Saturday Sessions: September 12, 19, 26 and October 3, 2020 - ONLINE

PMP® and CAPM® Exam Prep
Taken in conjunction with the CAPM and PMP Foundations in Project Management course listed above, these 2 courses meet the 35-hour education requirement to take the PMP certification exam.
This intensive preparation course is intended for those who are experienced in project management, or who have already taken project management courses. The course will provide a review of material normally covered in the exam and participants will receive sample exam questions. The focus of this course is on how best to prepare, study for, and take the PMP® or CAPM® exam.
This course aligns with the Project Management Institute's A Guide to the Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) Sixth Edition and is taught by PMP®-certified practitioners who are members of PMI-DVC with extensive real-world project management experience.
Two Saturday Sessions: October 17 and 24, 2020 - ONLINE
Time: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Length: 14 hours
